How it works
Four steps to Opa!
The ritual is simple. The memory isn't. Everything you need, from ordering to the last sweep.
Step 1
Choose your plates
SmashLite 6″ for every guest, SmashPrime 8″ for the headline moment. Orders start at 10 plates.
- 1–2 plates per person
- Mix both sizes
- Quote from 500
Step 2
Pick your moment
The entrance, the first dance, the sangeet finale, the moment the dhol or DJ drops. Tell the music team so the beat lands with the smash.
- Entrance
- First dance
- Cake
- Dance floor
Step 3
Set the stage
A hard floor and a clear zone. Closed shoes, children and pets back. Hand out plates just before the moment, not hours ahead.
- Hard floor
- Closed shoes
- Brooms ready
Step 4
Smash. Celebrate. Repeat.
Count everyone in, throw downwards onto the floor and shout Opa! Then sweep up and get back to dancing.
- Throw down, never at
- Shout Opa!
- Sweep & repeat
Plan it
How many plates do I need?
Count the people who'll join in, not the whole guest list. Move the slider for a quick estimate.
You'll want about
75–150
plates: one for each person joining in, two if you want a second round.
Try it first
Practice run.
Get the feel before the big night. Tap the plate, then picture a whole room doing it at once.
