This website is operated by Shatterix (“Shatterix”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and do not require a physical or digital signature.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• We currently deliver only to addresses within India.
• The information you give us, including your name, contact details and delivery address, must be accurate and complete.

Shatterix plates are engineered, pre-scored plates intended for ceremonial smashing at celebrations. They are made to order and are not intended for everyday tableware use.

• Because each order is produced for you, small variations in colour, glaze and pattern are natural and are not defects.
• Product photos and illustrations are representative. We describe sizes and features as accurately as we can.
• We may update designs or discontinue products at any time. This does not affect orders we have already confirmed.

• The minimum order is shown on each product page, from 10 plates, and applies to each colour.
• Orders of 500 plates or more are handled by personal quote rather than online checkout. A quote is valid for the period stated in it.
• Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when your payment is confirmed and we send your order confirmation. Until then, adding items to your cart is not a reservation.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, the delivery address cannot be served, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude GST. GST at 18% is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
• Delivery within India is free. There are no hidden charges at checkout.
• The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. We may change prices for future orders at any time.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay, by UPI, credit or debit card, or net banking. We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials.

• Orders are made for you and are usually dispatched within 2–3 days of order confirmation. Delivery time after dispatch depends on your location and the courier. All times are estimates and can vary with location, courier operations and events outside our control.
• If your order is for a specific date, please order with some margin and tell us your event date at checkout so we can plan around it. We will always tell you if we expect a delay.
• Please check your delivery address carefully. If a delivery fails because the address is incorrect or no one is available, we will contact you to arrange it.
• Ownership and risk in the plates pass to you on delivery.

Because every order is made for you, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. If production has not yet started, we will cancel your order and refund you in full. Once your plates have been produced or dispatched, we may not be able to cancel the order. We will never charge you a cancellation fee.

Our plates should break at your celebration, not in the box. If they arrive damaged, we'll put it right:

• Do not accept a parcel whose outer box is visibly crushed or opened.
• Photograph or video the box, packaging and damaged plates as you unbox.
• Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at contact.shatterix@gmail.com or on WhatsApp, with your order number and photos.

Once we verify the damage, we will replace the affected plates or refund them, at your choice. Refunds are made to your original payment method and usually reach you within 5–7 working days of approval, depending on your bank.

As plates are made to order and are designed to be broken, we are unable to accept returns of undamaged plates because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if a product is defective or not as described. See Returns & damages.

Plate smashing produces sharp fragments. By buying our products, you agree to:

• Read and follow the safety guidance supplied with your order and published on our website.
• Get the venue's permission, and smash only downwards onto a suitable hard floor, never towards people, animals or property.
• Keep children and pets well away from the smashing area, and make sure participants wear closed shoes.
• Not use plates while intoxicated to a degree that makes their use unsafe, and clear up all fragments promptly.

You are responsible for using the products safely at your event. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage caused by misuse, or by failure to follow the safety guidance.

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose or to place fraudulent orders.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system, or disrupt its operation.
• Copy, scrape or reproduce content from the website for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, illustrations, designs and software, belongs to Shatterix or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. The Shatterix name and logo may not be used without our prior written consent.

Some services on our website are provided by third parties, such as Razorpay for payments and WhatsApp and Instagram for messaging. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of enjoyment or the cost of rearranging an event.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, or affects your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

You agree to indemnify Shatterix against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our products or website, to the extent permitted by law.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, courier disruption, epidemics or government action. If this affects your order, we will let you know promptly and, if we cannot deliver, refund you in full.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published when you place your order applies to that order. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they were last revised.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

Subject to that, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. As a consumer, you may also approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in).

In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and work to resolve it within one month of receiving it. Please include your order number and any relevant photos. Contact details are below.

• If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
• If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.
• These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written quote, are the entire agreement between you and us for your order.
